THIS VESSEL DOES NOT CARRY LOGS AND DOES NOT HAVE ANY LASHING GEAR ON
BOARD.
THE INITIAL INTENDED BUILDER IN JAPAN WAS A JAPANESE COMPANY CALLED
NAMIREI-SHOWA WHO SUB CONTRACTED THE CONSTRUCTION WORK OF THE VESSEL
TO THE CHINESE SHIPYARD YANGZHOU LONGCUAN.
THEREFORE ALTHOUGH THE VESSEL WAS BULT IN CHINA, ALL THE STEEL PLATES,
MAIN EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY WERE MADE IN JAPAN AND A JAPANESE
TECHNICIAN WAS SENT TO YANGZHOU LONGCUAN FROM JAPAN TO OVERSEE THE
WHOLE CONSTRUCTION AND OUTFITTING.
THEREFORE THE OWNERS BELIEVE THAT THIS VESSEL IS A MUCH HIGHER
STANDARD AND CANNOT BE COMPARED WITH SIMILAR TONNAGE BUILT IN
TRADITIONAL CHINESE SHIPYARDS.
THE VESSEL HAS ALREADY LOADED IN VISAG FOR DISCHARGE IN KOREA WHERE
SHE WILL ARRIVE AT ONSAN ON THE 2ND APRIL 2014.
