Minimum main engine output for use of IFO 380 cst is 65% MCR, when vsl is operated at
less MCR, main engine must be operated on Marine Gas Oil.
When maneuvering in ports/ narrow waters/ rivers/ canals the main engine to be operated on
MGO instead of IFO.
Therefore Charterers to ensure that a safety margin of MGO, covering a daily IFO
consumption of vessel, always to remain on board for emergency cases.
Above figures based on container draft of 6.13 m, good weather conditions and smooth sea
maximum beaufort 2, on even keel in deep water with clean bottom, no counter currents,
seawater temp. max 30 °C and shaft generator in use.
In case shaftgenerator is not used, vessel will consume 1.2 to 5.9 mt IFO 380 depending on
load of reefercontainers and hold ventilation.

Fuel specifications:
HFO to be in accordance with ISO fuel standard 8217, 2005 RMG 380
MGO to be in accordance with ISO fuel standard 8217, 2005 DMA
Fuels outside this specification may result in damages to main engine/ and or loss of
performance, for which Charterers are responsible.
Charterers shall supply suitable fuel to enable main propulsion and auxiliary machinery to
operate efficiently and without harmful affects. The fuels shall be blends of hydrocarbons
derived from petroleum refining. The fuels shall be free from waste lubricants, chemicals,
anorganic acids or any other harmful substances. Sludge removal, if any, always to be for
Charterers’ account/time

Vessel is fully fitted with semiautomatic twistlocks and standard lashing material for securing
a full cargo of containers as per advised container capacity including OSHA fittings for full
load of containers.
Holds:
3 cargo holds – no. 2 and 3 are separated in the 40’ position (amids) by a movable cellguide.
The vessel is fitted with removable cells in holds 2 and 3 for 40’ units (2 x 20’ units can be
stowed in one 40’ cell), hold no. 1 accepts 20’ units only.
